Quick Tips for Affiliate Marketing

There are a few myths and mistakes that most of the new affiliate marketers are most likely to do.
- They target the wrong audience. Either in the sense of the audiences' needs or either in geographical targetting. Sometimes they offer different product from the need of the audience. Sometimes they do not configure their ppc well enough to bring in expected traffic.
- There had always been click frauds since the ppc came into existance. You can use softwares like Adwatcher and send your froud reported to ppc companies from time to time. You will find that you get good refunds from them every now and then.
- One should always set up a budget. It prevents you from spending more than you should. Always start a campaign off with a restricted budget, and only loosen up when you know it at least has potential.
- You should do some research about your campaign before starting it. Even if its little, it will help you save a fortune in the long run.
- Quit reading as many forums and blogs everyday. They provide more distraction than information. Cut your RSS list to only the blogs in which actually help you make money. Keep the entertainment and hobby forums for the weekend or for the time when you have finished your work.
- If you don't exercise and/or sleep well, you will feel tired, lazy and lack the motication to work all day long. Sleep in, it's a luxury of being in this industry. And exercise for your health's sake, you'll look better and more importantly feel a lot better.
- This for yourself and do just go for what others suggest you. What I suggested you are just from my personal experiences and it might differ from person to person. If a certain kind of marketing criteria doesn't work out for me, I might say that it sucks, while it actually may not for you.
